Their affectionate, attentive, humorous way of life filled homes with love and laughter, becoming treasured extensions of the family. We also learned how extremely smart this breed was, as Ginger also gained the nickname Houdini! …but those are adventure stories for another day.
About Us
The start of our family’s love for this amazing breed started back in 1993, when my dad brought home Ginger, our first Boxer.
The Chappa name (my maiden name) began and now carries many lines of lineage throughout Wisconsin and beyond. Pine Grove, Prairie Wind, Chappa’s Cascading Boxers (TN) , and Engelwood Acre’s Boxers all come from our family’s Pine Grove Ginger, who now is the face of our logo. We always welcome shout outs (and pictures!) of puppies that have come from our Chappa line over the years. Blessings to you and yours and may the joy of many boxers be in your home!
It's a passion!
I remember I was sitting on the couch and this tiny wiggly ball of energy ran into our living room and jumped right up onto the couch next to me. It was love at first sight. Since then the love of the breed branched out from Ginger and soon descendants filled our home and the homes of close friends and family.
